Hey dad I didn’t know what to get you
So when you read this, you might need some tissue
I know raising me was joy and pain
So if you have time lets walk down memory lane
Remember we used to play with each other through mommy’s stomach
And when I was two you tossed me in the air and I loved it
Remember teaching me how to play sports
And how you felt the first time I scored
Remember us playing video games late
And asking can you take me to pick up this girl for a date
Now I have kids of my own
And know how to be a father because you set the tone
You are a dad that deserves this day
From your grand children and your son, HAPPY FARTHER’S DAY
